Since the challenges seem to provide me with such wonderful inspiration, I have joined another! The challenge is to set a goal(I have chosen 5 books)between March 21 and June 21. Seems like a good idea to me since I would like to read many of the alternates on my TBR challenge list. Here are my five:
***Edited to add: After visiting Literary Feline at Musings of a Bookish Kitty I remembered that I bought "The Rest Falls Away" about a month ago and would really like to read this one so I swapped this it out with another title. Hopefully I will get to that one this year too.

Hi Amy! I guess I best go back to the challenge site to verify the number of books we are supposed to read. I didn't see that part. I chose 3 for the 3 months of the challenge. Yikes! Actually it won't be a problem to add 2 more on...one of which will be MOLOKA'I. :) I've had that on my TBR list for quite some time.
SNOW FLOWER is really good; however, I enjoyed MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA more. And...I LOVE Odd Thomas!
Happy Reading!
Amy ~ For clarification...you may choose as many books as you would like for this challenge. There is no set amount. :)
Ooo! Some great choices, Amy! I will be reading Moloka'i for the TBR Challenge down the road. I'm really looking forward to it. I want to get to Odd Thomas one of these days. And Snow Flower and the Secret Fan was my favorite book last year. Good luck to you!
Joy- Thanks for checking I guess I misunderstood the challenge. Maybe I saw that someone else chose 5 and assumed I should too..I think I will keep it at 5 and see if I can get them read but thanks for clarifying.
LF-These were my top 5 on my alternates list that I would like to read. I actually want to read everything I have listed but I am not sure that's very practical. :)
Amy...I'm doing this one too. I loved both Snow Flower and Molokai...good choices! I'm chuckling as I read through the comments - all the same people that always get pulled into the reading challenges. No obsession on our part, is there?!?!? LOL!
I like the challenge a lot... it sounds great. Challenges motivate me because I find that it organizes how I spread out my TBR list and it also controls my shopping. so far I have been a good girl about it... i started my own which is only worth joining because the button is so dam hot! ;)
My first visit but definitly not my last!
Nessie-
Sounds like you enjoy the challenges for the same reasons I do. By participating in the challenges I find that I am getting through a larger variety of books. Otherwise, I get stuck in a rut and only read one genre.
Thanks for visiting!
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is excellent!
3M- That's what I keep hearing. I am really looking forward to reading it!
Sounds like a great list! I've read Odd Thomas...he's such a great character. Looking forward to your reviews.
Happy Spring Reading!
Church Ladies was good, but I enjoy Lisa's more recent novels...enjoy your reading!
Hi Amy, just stopping by to thank you for being part of the challenge! I really enjoyed the two books from your list that I've read: Odd Thomas and The Church Ladies. Enjoy your reading!
Literalicious- I love Dean Koontz but I haven't read one since "Life Expectancy". I am looking forward to catching up.
Deena- I have read "Women's Intuition" and really enjoyed it. I was told that all of her books are good though.
Katrina- Thanks for the welcome. Some challenges I join to stretch myself. Some I join for fun. I am really looking forward to all of the books I have chosen for this challenge!
I must admit I am not a Koontz reader. So many are reading his books and my daughter says I should give him a try. Enjoy your reading!
Great list, Happy Reading! =)
The Fall Reading Challenge was a lot of fun, so I'm sure that you'll be glad you joined!
Thanks! I am very glad I joined. The challenges really seem to push me along!
